I know for a fact that for sure at some point we all have pressed some random  button in our cameras and made the histogram appear. First you thought "wow this looks so professional and technical!'' but then you realised that you are not sure how to use it and since it is taking some screen portion you decided to turn it off. I know all these because the same happened to me. 

When encountering the beauty of the night sky, the first thought is to capture that moment, to savour it for ever. So let's see how we can do that in simple steps.

Simply put, white balance controls how ‘’warm’’ or ‘’cold’’ your image will appear. 

Cameras now offer different shooting modes. These are found on the small dial that typically has some lettering on it.

Each camera has a photometer, it is like a sensor that detects light. What you can adjust with changing the metering mode, is the area that the sensor will cover.

Sun. Keeps us warm, brings us light and ruining our pictures since, well ever!
